Lent services & events

Ash Wednesday

To mark the beginning of Lent there will be a service of Holy Communion on Wednesday 2nd March at All Saints at 10.00 am. It will include the traditional imposition of ashes (marking the forehead with a cross), reminding us to repent and “Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return”.

Lent Course

Lent is a time of prayer, fasting and repentance - preparation for Easter.

Join us for a Lent discussion course where we will be thinking about justice.

Tuesdays (8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th March and 5th April) 7.30pm at All Saints and on zoom - email us at joinin@acnb-church.org for the zoom details.

Lent Lunches

Join us in St Mark’s room for a light lunch of soup, bread & cheese and fruit.

Fridays 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th March and 1st and 8th April - come any time between 12noon and 2pm.
