All Saints building work complete - and 'thank you!' Pam

We like a chance to share cake at All Saints and on Sunday 23rd Feb, we were able to both celebrate the completion of some significant building works and say ‘thank you’ to Pam, who’s been our treasurer for an incredible forty years.
Our recent building works have achieved a lot. There’s a new door that provides level access to our accessible toilet, which improves our inclusivity; a new meeting room and kitchen, giving us more flexible space to use; and new windows, making the church more energy efficient.
A big ‘thank you’ to Councillor Alan Dowden for formally opening our new meeting room and kitchen. Alan is pictured above on the brink of cutting the ribbon! Alan’s been a supporter of the church and our work in the community for a long time, so we were delighted that he could join this celebration.
The celebration also gave Vanessa a chance to ambush Pam, who has recently stepped down after an incredible forty years as our treasurer. A massive ‘thank you’ to Pam, for all her work keeping track of the parish finances over four decades. And thank you to James Pitkin, our Rural Dean and one-time curate at All Saints for joining us in wishing Pam well.
