Welcome to ACNB church

@acnbchurch is the Church of England worshipping community in the three parishes of Ampfield, Chilworth and North Baddesley. We commit to be peacemakers and reconcilers so that the light of God may be made visible in our local communities.

The COVID restrictions changed on 19th July - please see the latest COVID information for details of what that means for our worship.

Now hear this!

This is an important notice that should be displayed. Like the regular notice, this displays between a defined start and end date - but it’s a bit bolder and is more likely to be used for an urgent notice, like a cancellation.

We are an inclusive and welcoming group of three communities following the example of Jesus Christ. Working together locally we seek to encourage one another to live the way Jesus taught

  • To worship God together and to faithfully embody His love for all people.
  • To prayerfully encourage faith and service.
  • To seek to learn and live a new life as a disciple of Christ.

We share our faith in the local community through

Across the villages we use and take care of four church buildings - St Mark in Ampfield, St Denys in Chilworth and All Saints and St John the Baptist, both in North Baddesley.

What’s on this week

Although most COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted, we know that many of the restrictions we undertake are not for our own benefit but for the benefit of others. Therefore, although booking is no longer required, we strongly advise that people wear a face mask and socially distanced seating is being retained - please see the latest COVID information for details. Please email joinin@acnb-church.org or contact us to request Zoom details.

Welcome to the new website

It's time for a slight shift in focus and a new look

Why a new website? Yes, welcome to our new website. The aim is that it’s a front door to the benefice. It tells you about our services, our activities and our buildings. It helps people find out about what we offer. The previous site was a bit more ambitious. It let us post a wide range of content, but it also took quite a bit of effort to maintain. It’s been at the heart of our online presence over the last year or so and we’ve been very lucky to have it.
